Hi
This isn't an R/C sim, but has anyone had problems getting this program to run correctly?
On my computer, It starts up, but just goes to a blank screen.
I called microsoft and the tried a lot of different thing to remedy this problem. My computer meets the minimum requuirements that are listed on the package
Thanks for any help

Try updating your video drivers. Go to the card manufacturers website and see if there are any updates. Did you look at Flight Sim support or go to www.microsoft.com/support?

As a PS to my previous post, this is a known issue with with Flight SIM 2002 and ATI Radeon cards that use the retail driver versions. I wonder if you could have the same problem.

driverm391,
Please let us know how you fared with this problem. I received FS2004 for Christmas and will hopefully get to going soon, too.
One tip in PC Pilot magazine was to search for all OEM*.inf files and then delete every one which has a file size of 0Kb. This pertains to those unfortunates who have Windows ME as an operating system. Other OS's, I don't know.
Good Luck.

It's a great sim, but don't be fooled by those "Minimum Requirments". I have a P4, 3.2Ghz, 512MB ram and a Nvidia 128Mb video card. It still took me two days of tweaking to get the frame rates where I thought they should be. MS Flight Sim 2004 is fantastic, the best ever IMHO, but it needs a lot of resources!

Tlrolff: How about the previous MS Flight sims. I never got mine to run good. Maybe my pent 2 3d now at 233HZ just can,t cut it? Thanks Capt,n
