I got this AFP Ultimate Bipe from a german guy and his readme file says I need the latest add-on disk to get the sound working for this model or he says to e-mail him and he can fix it. Well he never replied and I can't get the sound working. It's a very nice plane.
Anyone out there know how to fix this?

Did you put the .wav file into the sound folder?

joe, email me the bipe and i'll fix that sound for you and send you any 3d planes i have, i don't have many, altough the add extra is excellent.

Raptor: Ok I just zipped it and e-mailed it to you.

Seems like that is your problem. The zip file had a .wav file that must be placed in the sound folder. Go to your sound folder and copy any .wav file. Rename it "Ulti-1710" (without the quotes) and place it in the sound folder. You now have sound. I would e-mail you the file but cannot send attachments through RCU.

Jon, I tried that and it did not work. I tried Ultimate.wav too. How do you find out which sound file name the model is looking for?
