Default Multiple PC's with one copy of G2?

I recently purchased and installed the RF G2 on my desktop. In the manual they seem rather emphatic that only one PC can be used to install G2. Well now that it is installed I never need to use the CD-ROM and it starts from the desktop and I play the sim.

So then, could I also install the CD-ROM into my laptop and then be able to take it and the USB controller on the road and play the sim? It would seem logical that I could but I don't want to run afoul of Great Planes or Knife Edge Software and also I don't want anything sinister to happen to my laptop if I attempt to install a once used copy of G2, lol!

So, what's the word?

Thanks!

I have it on both of mine and I don't believe there is any sort of legal problem and it hasn't destroyed my laptop either.

LOL!

The reason I said that is because I know of a couple issues where CD-Roms had been installed and then later when tried on another PC they caused a freeze-up because the internal computer registration thingy conflicted with the previously downloaded CD-ROM.

Don't ask me how it does it, I have no idea. I only know it happened to my step-daughters PC when she went off to college.
