I'm tring to find some information from people that have used both the USB controller that comes with G2 and one of their own transmitters. Is there a difference in how a given plane flies with the two different 'boxes'? Can you make the plane fly more realistically with the transmitter?
I'd like to know before I spend money for an interface cable. TIA, Andy

I have G2 and I have flown with both and I like the interlink controller as it has all the knobs and swithches that are already programed for flaps and helio controls

It all depends on how you configure the controller. While I think the G2 is easier because you can dial in each plane differently. You own transmitter may be better to set up a plane to fly like your real one.
