Default Programing flaperons...etc on GPRF2

I got the simulator to work, but cant seem to figure out the radio programing on my own planes. I am trying to do things like get flaperons on the Extra Special and mix smoke with up elevtor, but I don't understand how to do it. Could someone give me a basic idea as to how I do this. It's driving me nuts.
I am using the RF control/transmitter.
I wish this thing would have came with a decent manual.

Do you want me to break the bad news to you before someone else does? There is a reason it's not in the manual.

Hmmm, biased information. I'm not saying it's inaccurate, just biased. You'd be better off contacting GP support for a conclusive answer.

My answer is not a biased reply. That would be if the customer was buying AFP from me. Great Planes does not offer support in this forum, so I was trying to help him out.

WOW! Welp ... I've had it all this time and did not know that. Can you explain the theory behind it? I'm REALLY interested too!

Hedgehawg:

You can do this fairly easily in RFG2. You need to make a copy of the plane in order to edit it as G2 will not let you edit the default models. When you edit the plane, you need to click on the edit radio button.

This brings up a screen that shows each control surface and which servo controls it when certain switches are set. You can use this to set up flaperons, mixing elevator with flaps etc.

Email me if you are having problems and I'll try to help.

i have been trying to get my G2 to work (it has been down for a few days) to go over how to do it. I have not got it up yet but i do remember you may have to edit the plane in the servos page and add another servo to the Ailerons. without this second servo you can program the mixing.

You can absolutely do this!

If you are having a lot of trouble, email me the plane file and I'll put the mixing in for you.

Thanks for the info.

I tried to mix smoke/elevator on my 232, but can not seem to get it to work. I could get the 232 to smoke when I applied down elevator, but I couldnt get it to with up elevator. Not sure why, but tried several different things with no luck. Wierd...
