I decided on purchasing the AFP simulator. After long time with FMS, it was not realistic. And after seeing that 3W video it was no brainer. (Not I am going to fly soon like that but knowing that it can be done was enough)
Planning to get it from
http://www.fxaeromodels.com/other.htm
and will get the adaptor for 9C
I have a 9C and 6YG, so will use the 9C for the simulator for mixing and everything else. Runing a Windows XP on PIII-1000 with ATI Mobility Radeon 16 MB graphic card, have the serial port. Will downlaod the patch.
Did I forget anything, is there any issue or problems that I should be aware of with this combinations. AFP was arround for several months, any new version expeceted? possibly with USB interface?
Any other places for purchasing the AFP. Lower the price better.
I know this post was like the posts in beginner forum (this plane that tx...) but did a search and did not see anything specific so decided to ask you.
Thanks,

I got mine from www.aeroflypro.com. Dion was VERY helpful and has given me some of the best support I have ever dealt with in any company. I have told a few friends about it, they bought it and all said the same thing. If you can find it somewhere cheaper, well that's your decision, I go for service.

Tom's is what I was inspired from,
I copied the color scheme with the permision of Tom, and he is a great guy and he to sent me the templates for those decals.
This is mine, slightly different. Here is mine.

Both Tom and J David are great guys. I bought the DP Ultiamte that J David is hold on their website. That was my 2nd airplane. They are a couple of die hard modelers. Beautiful work they both do. I'm looking forward to meeting them both at Toledo. Also seeing Tom's Dauntless! That thing looks incredible.
