This will be a two part question. I prefer the "look at ground" view option in G2. What do you guys think about that view? Is it the most realistic? I find that it helps me stay oriented and makes up for peripheral vision not existing in the game.


The second part has to do with views as well. I have found that when I start an event in G2 that "look at ground" is greyed out. This is very frustrating as I feel like I'm starting over again since I can't fly when all I see is sky and plane. Does anyone know if there is a way to get around this? I think spot landing and limbo would be very helpful in learning how to make the airplane go where I want rather than just making sure it doesn't fall out of the sky (I've only had the sim for a couple days so I'm just getting the hang of that part). I guess I could set the goals for myself without using the events, it's more interesting when there is a challenge there.
