Guys, do any of you know of an AFP cable that runs continuous from a Futaba 9C to the computer, preferably in USB? I've given my AFP and adapter cord away, and I
need to replace them both. Thanks, everyone.

If you gave away your cord, you gave away your entire program. That cord has a security chip that activates that program everytime you run it. You need to get your cord back or purchase an entire new product.

I have been using my new AFPD and it is great. Today I wanted to connect my 9CAP to it and looks like I am missing something. I know about the cables that you can get from all the different sites, but my AFPD did not come with any type of cables. Am I missing parts here? I only got the TX, manual, and disc.
Thank You for your help

Do you have the commander version??
There are 2 versions.....the commander that has its own controller (I believe) and the USB version that just comes with a cable and we use our won Tx
I did have to get a seperate adapter for my 9C but they sell that on the website..

Hello EA:
You are correct. The one that I have is the latest version and comes with the commander that has a USB cable attached to it. Now, my question is: How do I connect my 9CAP? The USB cable that comes with commander is soldered to it ! What I need is something like a mix between the 9CAP's square connector and an USB cable. Excuse my ignorance, but on the manual it looks very simple, NOT.
Thanks,
GL

We have located a good cable at a good price, shooting for $39.95. It will come with everything shown for all radios too. Just have to do some final testing and if everything goes well we will start taking orders for these next week and start shipping week of April 7.
These will work for Commander versions. These will also work for AFP and AFPD as the 2nd radio. More info will be on the site Monday.
Thanks!

It's stereo, but it all depends on the tolerances of the cables. However we will have a bit more control over production and if they don't currently work for the new JR's, we will make sure that they will. Worst scenario is that you may have to get the JR adapter that we currently sell on the first production run.
I have a 9C so I will be testing it on Monday. We'll be putting them through the testing them on just about every radio we can get our hands on at both OMP offices.
This is great because I don't know of anyone offering them for all the radios in 1 bundle. Usually you have to order for only 1 brand and pay a lot more money.
I've been looking all over the earth for the best priced that can hook up to all the major radios in one bundle and looks like we found it.

If you are intersted in building your own cable then check out my website. There is detailed schematics, PIC code and detailed explanations on how they work.
