Have you configured and calibrated your joystick in the Windows control panel, or in the FMS menu?? Is the port where the trans is connected actually working?

Cheers!

First, what type of interface are you using? From your second mail, it seems to be a joystick interface, as you are seeing it under Control Panel.

Go to "Control Panel", and double click on "Gaming Options".

A list of all available joysticks will be displayed.

If the USB/Joystick device does not show up here, it might mean that it was not propperly installed. If the USB/Joystick interface shows up in this list, click on it once, then click on "Properties". You should now be able to see if it responds to any of the Tx signals, and can be calibrated by following the on-screen instructions.

If the USB/Joystick interface works here, go the the previous screen:

Click on the "Controller IDs" tab. Again, a list of all available joysticks will be displayed. Renumber the Controller Id in such a way that the USB/Joystick interface is assigned to ID 1. This might solve your problem.

Next, select the correct interface in FMS. Go to Controls, Analog Control..
Select Joystick interface, and click on the Mapping/Calibration.

Click on Calibrate. You should see the blue bars moving. Follow on-screen instructions.

Last, move the sticks, and assign the correct channel for the function under the Mapping section.

If you have a JR transmitter, remember to keep it switched OFF. The coder part will automatically turn on when the interface is plugged into the training socket.
