Default AFP Game commander Prob

Hi
just brought AFP Pro but im having some probs at the moment and i hope someone can help me.

I plug the game commander into my game port, enable the game port in the bios load the game once loaded to the main screen say AFP is unable to locate the interface cable and to plug it into a spare com port.

Has anyone had this prob or know what the problem is.

I have also set the commander up in thge gaming option from the control panel.

Your help will be much appreciated as i want to join the rest oof you in enjoying this fantastic sim.

Cheers

You must still have the Interface (9 Pin Serial) plugged in. Just wrap it up. There is a digital key inside the plug that activates the program.

Also install the latest patch from the front page of aeroflypro.com

Still having probs with the game commander.

In the setting i have changed the joystick controls over so that the left stick is now the throttle and the right is the elevator. But now with the throttle it is either half on at the bottom of the movement or if you slide the stick forward to get more throttle it goes straight to full throttle. there is now inbetween.
I've tried calibrating it several times but to no avail.

Any ideas...

Cheers

p.s If i use my hitech tx theres no probs at all. If i use my jr 378 tx nothing happens.

For your Game Commander, set it up in your desktop/Control panel/Game Controllers first. As for your JR 378 not working, take your adapter with the JR lead attached to an electronics guru and get him do do an internal bridge in the plug. The JR system only uses 2 terminals. To verify this before you do it, plug in your JR Tx and pull the plug out slightly from fully seated and you will see what I mean.

Hope this helps
Alan
