I have griped recently about various features of AFP. I have come to realize that most problems with its realism can be fixed with simulation speeds. The problem is that different planes need different speeds to operate realistically. With the right sim speed, the planes feel great with very authentic characteristics. Just curious if those who are experienced in AFP could post their "favorite" sim speed for various planes. I have found that %145 seems to be the sweet spot for various planes, but some need more, and some less. If you have a speed that you feel is perfect fore a plane, I'd like to know about it. It would save me some time tinkering around. Thanks!

I've posted many times that the default simulation speed is not the same as "real world". That is why they give you the ability to go faster or slower. They default it to slower to help you right out of the box. All you have to do is slide it to about 125%, that's my sweet spot for the 40% aircraft.

I don't know how you can tell what's normal for a plane you've never flown, so for me I'll base it on the CAP's I fly. For them I find that the number I have which is 144 is about right.
I've flown the other planes at that speed and they seem to feel right, but who knows since I don't own those models and can't tell if they drop like a rock or float like a butterfly in real life.
So, for me I'd say that the CAP's in the sim fly like my CAP's when the value is around 144%.
