i have been using G2 for a couple of weeks now and have had a hard time hovering chopers.airplanes on the sim seems more difficult also,it helped when i enlarged the model in edit.any body have an ideas,im not worried about my plane experience with the sim but i do consider it a way to get the feel of a choper and am unsure how much stock to put into sim.

Don't take this wrong ... but just keep practicing. Hovering helis is hard when you first begin ... and the sim is very much like the real thing. It takes a while to get it down.
Good luck,

yup he is right, the real thing is even harder cuz of the pucker factor. looking at the investment you just made flopping around not doing anything you are telling it to do is a lot tougher than the sim. keep at sooner or later it will click

"Click" is the right description for this .... I could not hover at all and could barely keep the sim helis flying for more than 30 seconds. Then one day it just "clicked" and I could do it.
I can't imagine trying to learn to fly helis w/o a sim ... couldn't afford the crashes
