Hi, I'm looking to practice IMAC and 3D. What is the best simulator for this application? I currently have a real flight deluxe. The limation I have is that you don't have the ground as a reference to help with precision flying. I see three choices, real flight G2, ikarus aerofly, and the new MRC version with the real pictures of flying fields.

Reflex XTR (The below are just my opinions. I have not flown nor seen AFP. I currently own RF G2 and Reflex XTR.)
Graphics are incredible. I finished creating a 360 degree panoramic view of my local field (photo realistic) and incorporated into the Sim. The fealing of being at the field is amazing. The Sim actually looks better than real life becuase I was able to create a sky that was clear with some clouds and without any haze
.
Currently tweaking a plane in the sim to match my current plane. It is very close.
I personally do no feel there is a sim that can match exactly the feeling and dificulty of flying the real thing. The biggest benefit is learning the stick movements for various moves.

Do any of them allow you to use the ground/ runway as a reference in order to pracice flying strraight lines and patterns.

With AFP you can use 2nd window in the corners of the screen with cockpit view mode. That is what I use.
Watch this videos, this will show you it's IMAC and 3D capability:
