Looking at getting G2, which port does it connect into the back of the computer with? The reason is that i've a laptop i'd like to use and i'm aware some use the serial port.

The new G2 uses a USB port, called Interlink. The older version uses a game port, not too common on laptops.

Make sure your lap top has the HP for it.

Their maybe concerns about the graphics card but i can run various 3D games on it at very respectable frames/second (i.e. fs2000, Sports Car GT).
Thoughts?

Graphic card is not very powerful, but G2 should work. just turn off some of the graphics features...
