Default Mixing problems with XTR

Has anyone had any success mixing elevator to flap using Reflex XTR? The help says you can't have flaprons [&o] I had hoped XTR would help me to learn my computer radio so I could practice 3D flying (newbie). I'm using a Futaba T8UAP Super. Looks like the mixing capabilities are limited with XTR. What am I doing wrong?
Can you have flaprons using AFP?
Thanks,
Maekju

From the post I read in this group, I thought there was more intrest in Reflex XTR. I made my decession between XTR and AFP from screen shots and comments in this group. I'm new to 3D flying and computer radios and thougt XTR would help me learn both. I've been using the manual that came with my radio and Don Edberg's manual to set up mixes on my UCD46 without any problems. However, I've had no success in setting up ANY mixes using XTR. No flaps, ailevators, Elev>Rud, Ail>Rud. I hope this is due to my inexperience and not the program. I'm not a newbie to the hobby just new to 3D and computer radios. If I can't figure this out in the next week or get any help from here, it looks like I'll be dumping out $150.00 for AFP. The grahpics in XTR are very pretty though, very pretty.
Thanks,
Maekju

I'm not sure about the 3d stuff, but I have elevator and flap mixing for the models that have flaps. Haven't tried flaperons in the sim, but have tried them on my real model. I did not like them. Real full flaps work much better than flaperons IMHO. All mixing was done in my radio, an old Futaba Super 7. I use XTR mostly to improve my basic flying skills, but have done some 3d stuff too. I think Reflex XTR is just fantastic.[8D]

Thanks Joe,
I tried flaperons on my UCD46 and it does tighten up loops....very tight. The help menu say's you can't use flaperons in XTR but I would like to try some of the other mixes. I'm still trying. XTR is awsome.
