Hi all,
In FMS when you do a harrier the ailerons lock out, is it possible to stop it doing this, or adjust the models to prevent it doing this?
I.e makes rolling harriers impossible as you can't roll it!!
Any ideas?

From: Leicester,
I'm using a 4 axis joystick which does calibrate ok, i don't have a problem with the joystick in any other games...i was just wondering wether it was just something the flight sim did or wether it could be worked round...as the ailerons work above stall speed in fms. I know in reality ailerons don't work that great under stalled conditions but they do work!!

The sim is cheap, so don't expect miracles. I have recently given-up on the joystick and started using the keys like control sticks, e.g. e,d + s,f on my left hand and o,l +k,; for my right hand, this is putting practise at which hand is used for which control stick. Soon I want to develop a little stand with sticks which will press the keys.

From: Leicester,
I know what you mean about which hand doing what movements, but i rather having proportional control rather than the keyboard.
Thanks for your help, it was worth asking to see if anyone had found a soloution...but apart from that an excelent flight sim.
Cheers all

Yeah, I rate they should come up with a sim like Ripmax RC Simulator, but a hell of a lot cheaper.
I , in South Africa can't afford a game at that price.
It would be great if they made a game free of charge to download , even if it came in bits and pieces for the user to download, it would be great to have a sim wif realistic control inputs and physics, so that you can mush onto the ground and to make it more realistic for 3D flyers.
As I said, it could be made in hops and steps as the creator and other participating enthusiasts put their creations up for download, just like FMS.
