I downloaded and installed the FMS program. It looks good but doesn't respond to keyboard or joystick commands. I really want to hookup my JR computer radio with the FMS program. What interface should I buy? Do I need a "special" video card. I am running an AMD 550 with 256 mg of ram. Any help would be appreciated!

Go to controls and select keyboard. The interface is a trainer-serial link.

to make your own. On E-bay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1759004033
Or other sources. I fly Futaba so I don't know where exactly to get an FMS cord for JR.
Good luck and practice hard!

Mackey, I am including Matt Clement's web site address - Read EVERY THING that is there and then send him 21.00 and your Radio information and you will get what you need and IT WORKS.
I am using his Parrellel Port Cable on LP1 (same same Printer Port) and it works great. Using and older Futaba Conquest 6 transmitter and the dual rates and even helli controls will work great if thats what you desire. I have downloaded about 50 extra planes from all over the world. Some good, some bad, but hey, they are free You can build the cable yourself but hey, 21.00 ?? I think this is good.

From: Ile Perrot, QC,
Hi all.
I built the serial interface for FMS.
In the calibration form I can never see the controls stable, although they respond to stick movements. The serial signal to the port is stable ( I checked with the osciloscope )
Is there any way to reduce the sensitivity ?
What else could be causing the problem ?
Thanks in advance !!!
Juan

I am using the logitech wingman rumble stick (Dual Sticks), after reading about this on a prevous post. Pretty short throws, but it is cheap, and my flying has improved because of it. Added bonus my kids can play on FMS, without me worrying about my transmitter.
