I've seen 3 different diagrams on the web for Futaba/Hitec cables. I don't know if they all work or if some are wrong. Does anyone have one (schematic) that is known to work?
Thanks,
Tom

Otherwise you can buy one but make sure you buy either a PIC serial i/f or a joystick i/f. Try Ken Hewitt at http://www.rc-electronics.co.uk/ for either of those. The cheap parallel/serial ones do not work with W2000.
Hitec and Futaba trainer sockets are compatible provided the Futaba has the current 6-pin DIN socket not the very old 5-pin version.

Don't know if anyone is using this ..... I just found it.
I found a little program called Smart Propo that works with W2000. It plugs your Futaba/Hitec/JR into the sound card. Put a 10k resistor across the signal & ground on the trainer port, and a 1/8th inch jack on the other. The ppm subcarrier audio tones are detected as different command inputs.
Here's one website, I'm still looking for the better one with the cable picture.
