Default RF G3 vs Reflex XTR

I have upgraded to RF G3 from G2, and I am not very impressed. The graphics are a little better, physics are much better, but I am very disaponted with G3. I do think the developers at Great Planes will eventually get things fixed. I got my Reflex XTR today, and boy am I ever impressed!!! The physics are much better and the graphics are really 3D (Depth). I am still learning how to use the program, but I have to say Reflex XTR has G3 beat right now.

I just purchased AFP Deluxe, howver I am still waiting for delivery which should be sometime next week. I hope! I will let you know what I think when I have all three running.

At this point, I do like G3 for the arcade aspects, but I really think Reflex XTR is more realistic.

This is only my opinion.

PS: I could use a STRYKER F27 model for any of the above sims if you know where I can find one.

I've seen G3 and played it.
I bought the XTR.

XTR graphics is mind blowing, but high system requirements.
I love the progressive torque training module, cos I'm trying to learn 3D flying.

I'm using JR PCM 9 with XTR.

I must say XTR is a tad more difficult to setup than RF3 (which comes with its own control box).
Other than that, XTR has performed quite nicely for me.

Why don't you wait for the AFP Deluxe?

I have RFG2, G3, and XTR. Am selling all to get AFP Deluxe. Even AFP was better as far as physics are concerned than all of the others. XTR has unbelievable graphics, while G3 is better than G2, but still not the best. I would choose XTR over G3.

All,

I have AFP Deluxe on order. From what I heard, it is supposed to be the best. Hopefully, I will have it from OMP by the end of next week. I will let you all know what I think.

I have been using the controller with G3 and my Skysport 6 Transmitter with Reflex XTR with no problems. Heli's in XTR are much better than RF G2, however I will be interested to see how the Heli's fly in G3. Now that I have XTR, I am not so concerned about not having Heli's yet for G3.

Again, I have no problems with G3, except I expected a lot more from a company that has had 5 years to improve their product. I guess there are not enough RC'ers to pay for better development, however I do buy a lot of stuff from Tower/Great Planes.

ALSO, WHERE CAN I FIND A STRYKER F27 (PARK ZONE) MODEL FOR THE ABOVE SIMS, ANYONE??????
