Default AMD processor with G3

I am running an AMD processor with 512Meg of memory in my computer with G3 loaded on the Hard Drive. It starts loading with the "Loading Scenery" progress bar traveling to the 100% mark, then it just locks up. I have been told that it may be my ATI monitor card. Does anyone have any ideas?

What Ghz is your processor? I have 512 meg memory also but I had to go to a 1.6 Ghz processor from my original 1Ghz to make the game run right. Wish I could afford a 3Ghz. min requirements is 1 Ghz but that's on the edge.

I had the same problem, I got the latest driver for my video card of the web (even though I thought I had the latest) and it now runs great. It may be worth a try.
