Posting G3 re-paints here

What you should do is, instead of moving the exhaust smoke component, add your own smoke components. First move the Engine's "Smoke" component towards the back to match where the black smoke is in the pic. Change the smoke color to black. Then right-click on the "Fuselage" component in the tree and select "Add Smoke Component" twice. You will then have two more smoke components for which you can change the color/location. Be sure to also hook those new smoke components up to the smoke servo by clicking on them in the tree, then changing the "Smoke Servo" property from "No Servo" to "Smoke Servo."
Worked beutifully! Thanks

When you have an aircraft that you want to paint selected in the game, go to the menu, "aircraft->save color scheme as" and type in a name. You will see a message telling you where the new color scheme is saved.
