Default G2 users beware

I just recently purchased realflight G2 and am having a few problems. For starters I wouldn't recommend this program to anyone who already has a problem completing minor tasks around the home when not flying. Nor would I recommend this program to anyone who might have a mild interest to rc flight as this might lead to symptoms of full fledge addiction. I myself am having a hard time of making it to the field to fly because of that damn computer! If anyone you know might have these symptoms please be sure to educate them before their purchase of G2 and to condole them after their wife leaves them or the boss calls and explains that a bad case of the G2 bug is not a excuse to miss 2 weeks of work. Enjoy

I guess I need to return my freshly ordered copy before I come down with those symptoms. I upgraded my computer and then found out that I could not plug in my old controller!

Default G2 JUNKIES ANONOMUS....HERE WE COME.

Hello Sdt22 & all you g2 junkies,
I read your post and I know where your coming from. I bought my first way back when Realflight came out with the first sim.Ever since I've bought add on to add on.Realflight Classic all the way up to G2 Interlink.I even have my Volum 4 on back order at Tower Hobbies. And as of last night Im going through DT's because it hasn't been sent yet.The only other adiction I have that comes close is the RCU site.If Im not on the RF Sim, Im checking the post out on RCU.
I fly on the Sim morning, noon & night. In fact I have a date with some of the guys her at RCU to join in on a Multiplayer fun fly to night. I even went as far as buying a RF Sim off Ebay for a local kid so he could get his flying basics down.
I guess theres no hope for sobriety in the near future. Next thing you will see RF coming out with would be a GRUOP THEROPY ADD ON.
I GOT IT BAD GUYS!!!

Default COUGAR

Cougar,
I've been saying that since I got my first RF Sim and it hasn't changed a thing. They don't make annabuse for Realflight users.Maybe the Betty Ford Clinic has a new wing for REALFLIGHT users only.

We like to concentrate on RC here at RCU, and not on how to stop. If you feel you need help, please feel free to contact town hall and ask for the department of mental hygiene. I wish you the best of luck, but hope the doctors can't find a cure for you least they put it in the water supply.

I sold a US .40 to buy RealFlight and I'm more than happy that I did. Buy it used. I got mine for $130 with add on 3. Now I hope the boss can't tell I fly from work (T1).

Hi Billy,
Doesn't your boss wonder why you have the RealFlight TX hooked up to the company's computer?

Well, I finally 'broke down' and ordered the G2 for use over the winter. After reading the many mentally addicted pilots out there (more than a few in my club too!!), I hope I can resist the temptation and do normal things like eat.. sleep...go to work... or am I doomed before I begin?

Default RE: FRIG & MICROWAVE

Hi Cougar,
Let me guess your main item on the menu is pop & microwave pop corn, right? Just make shure If you get the buttery kind. Have a roll of paper towels on hand you wipe the butter off your fingers.Makes the sticks messy on the TX. I just go to the kitchen or have my wife make it fir me.
Just keep say to your self "My name is Jeff and I a G2 Alcoholic" over and over.

Default RE: JEFF'S DRINKING PROBLEM

Hello SigKadetmii,
Jeff I don't think has a problem with drinking alcohol, the problem is he never leaves his den. When he installs a toilet & sink then he's gone way to far.
See here in Iowa we don't have alot of time to fly out side, and thats why we resort to REALFLIGHT.

Not alot of heavy drinkers in the Kalona Iowa area, maybe the Iowa City and Coralville Ia area.
No offence Cougar

Beware SP #3 for Win 2K. G2 worked just fine with SP #2, and installing SP #3 killed G2. I'm using the Tx interface that's installed on the printer port. I've even gone so far as to re-load Win 2K, install SP #2 (works fine), then install SP #3. Death and destruction then insues. I've been looking at the new USB upgrade, this might give me enough of a reason to do so. I can't imagine why 40% of the public doesn't have a computer yet..................

A buddy had it with the add on 3. I sold the US 40 and took my friend to luch. I have to say he could have used the practice but hey, he's an adult!
