We just had our computer gone through and XP is my new operating system. I can get the G2 software to install but I can't run it. It just shows the G2 logo that says "LOADING PROGRAM" I can hear the music but no simulator. I installed the newest Direct X from the RealFlight site but still no luck. I also tried to install the latest version of the software but I got a message, something about not being able to connect because something about a firewall. I know nothing about firewalls, and I know very little about computers, I didn't find the RealFlight site helpful for trouble shooting. I hope someone here can help me.

try to disable you're firewall, then try to connect again, firewall should be called McAfee,Zone Alarm,Norton's Personal Firewall,Just to name a few. you can probably locate the firewall settings in you're icons box at the bottom of the screen where your clock is. if it don't work, pm me or reply. i'll chack back and see if i can help.[8D]
