RE: Any Simulator Screenshots(pics)!!!
Ever since I saw a BD5J at an air show years ago, I wanted one of those. Couldn't believe the wheels could take the kind of takeoff & landing velocities it could muster.

Alma:
I'm assuming the German rotorcraft used two tilted, counter-rotating meshed rotors to negate any torque reaction? I see no tail rotor. Interesting design...what is it? ;-}
I built and flew two gyrocopters based loosely on the Bensen gyros of years past.

RE: Any Simulator Screenshots(pics)!!!
hi Charles, After searchin i found someting out for you, it's a Fletner FI-282, he flew in the last of the 2 dnt war on the German side , he was clearly experimental and has no armament.
This one is actually for Easy Fly, but with a trick can you let him fly in AFPD, but he is not in down load , maybe come that later, it's Hans Wonner 's thing....
BTW, what to say of the evening-red atmosphere?? AFPD is realy not to end with his posibilitys, keep an eye on it ..........[8D]

RE: Any Simulator Screenshots(pics)!!!
Thanks for the piccies, Alma! The last shot does show what I suspected, and gives me an idea of the shortened rotor blades on this aircraft.
Bensen did have a driven rotor(s) aircraft, they were coaxial, and counter-rotating, so rotor torque was cancelled also, but the tilted rotors on the model and real aircraft are just fascinating. Wish I could see actual video of one in flight...may just google it and see what pops-up.

OK...some quick-n-dirty (literally) screenies of the new RealFlight G3 Expansion Pack 1. The Turmoil is extreme fun to fly! More later...

The UCD flies good, but is down on power, and the tail-feathers are much smaller than I'm used to on a 3D machine. Would make a good "starter" 3D machine. Fortunately, you may edit torque and many other parms to suit.
The flat-outs are nuttin' but FUN! I like the Turmoil, especially for knifeedge maneuvers. It seems to do everything really well. The Reflection Bipe is super-maneuverable, probably the most "wow" factor of the bunch. The Katana is OK, the Chapman is OK too. I haven't flown the real-deal version of any of these flat-outs, so have no idea how they model compared to the real ones, but if anything like the models, at least two will be on my shopping list soon.
The lawnmower on high-rates has incredible roll-rate. Doesn't like to fly inverted at all...very touchy...it will, but requires constant control inputs. I got more laughs out of the lawnmower than the other planes. The engine sound is especially funny. My girlfriend even wanted to fly it.
The airports are worth mentioning. KE has done a bang-up job of the photofields. Collision points and mapping seem super. The covered football practice field has a vertical tarp hanging from the ceiling that you may fly behind, and run into. Pretty neat. Haven't flown all the airports and planes/helis, so can't comment further, but from what I've seen so far, I'm more than satisfied with the expansion pack.
Oh! Forgot the Chapman Cap...it is very easy to 3D. Plenty of power and control authority. I personally like the 3D physics of .410 though. Harder to 3D, just the way I like it!

Yak-55, F5D Electric Pylon Racer, Pietenpol Aircamper, and the inimitable Nieuport 28C-1. Just had a request for the LawnMower:
Oh! Propnut...the Nieuport does FLY!
