Thanks for all the nice things, and sorry for making you dizzy, lol
That map you can crash into the fence and stuff, the others have fences, corn fields, pavilions, and planes.
I don't think ill be entering the VTOC, i choke when i try to make the videos.
Thanks again,
Scott

Great flying Scott
. To all who want to use FRAPS: I have been using FRAPS for a long time. I have found the two best versions for me are 2.2.5 and 2.5.1.
The reason I say this is these two versions have the least program interference for me when running Aerofly. Nothing is worse than having the plane stutter around when you are trying to fly[sm=lol.gif].
Both 2.5.1. and 2.2.5 seem to have the best codecs for the highest quality capture. Version 2.5.1 seems best on one of my machines with XP and service pack 2 installed.
Remember many updates were released to correct problems encountered with other game applications. Size 800X600 yields the best for video capture for me. You may have to drop lower if your machine is straining. The people at FRAPS are great and if you are a FRAPS member, they will send you any version you request. I have about 8 and the two I mention have performed the best for me[sm=bananahead.gif].
FRAPS captures in AVI format (BMP'S) and the files are huge. I convert the AVI's to WMV's using either Stoik's converter from Dion's OMP site or Windows movie maker. Stoik's appears to creates a higher quality however files are larger and you can't add title blocks (unless you cheat like me). Movie maker appears to yeild a slightly lower quality but gives an easy way to add titles etc[sm=idea.gif].

Bowser what I do when I need to add credits is use Movie maker then output in the highest possible with the raw video. Like if I wanted to wind up 320x240 at 512 then I would output from Movie maker with triple those numbers, you know what I mean.
Then I compress to my liking (320x240 at 512 bits, or whatever) with Stoik. Stoik does do a better compression job by far plus it's much more customizable. This way you get the best of both worlds.

Dion...I have discovered a way to put text titles and photos in the FRAPS AVI's raw file then run it thru Stoik's as one single file for the highest quality possible quality[X(]. The only programs used are AFP,FRAPS,an AVI joiner and Stoik's. Should I get a patent? Remember the ULTIMATE and GILES videos. I had them as super sharp wmv's but had to cut way back on quality in Stoik's so slower DSLs could download. I think RODEO could figure out the secret if he viewed it. The bee and titles were in the AVI files with the flight. Go back and watch them and see if you can figure out how I did it? As a clues, imagine being inside of a beach ball. Sometime when I have more time I will make a how to write-up[sm=bananahead.gif].
