hey guys....I am like a kid...I ordered my afpd (my first flight sim!) from OMP on wed. I did the online order route, but I haven't heard anything back from them yet. No one answeres when I call. I am hoping the just shipped it right out. We'll see. Has anyone else done the online order thing with them? I am so pumped to get it.

Hey, thanks for the help anyway. I just spoke with a nice lady at OMP and the commander version is not in yet but should be in by next friday and mine may ship the next week. Very nice lady.

Which radio do you have? I expect the prices for the Commander to be over $100 but have no details on shipping. You could get a good 6 channel on Ebay RCU for much less then that.

However, if AFPD interface version sells for $169 @ OMP and with commander at $209, how can the buddy box cost that much more ?
$169-$209=$40.
I guess I and others need more information on EXACTLY what this Commander system is to be. I figured I would get the interface version first and get a back up/primary box to fly planes without resorting to my TX's. I guess I may have to resort to older USB/Serial TX's.
