This probualy is a dumb question but I've read over all the info at the G2&G3 sight, just curious if I upgrade to the G3 would I have to uninstall all my G2 planes, color schemes, airports etc or will the G3 automatically reconize those files and just replace the G2, or I can still run both?

The custom G2 planes, color schemes, airports etc will not show up in G3 but you can still run both sims. The installation of G3 will not replace G2.
