I have 1.7 AthlonXP, running 512mb RAM, w/ SiS 64mb 4x AGP video card. If anyone is familiar with this setup, I'd like to know if it would work properly with RF G2 or not. Already running Win XP....any suggestions/info would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Your setup should work great! I don't know much about that card, but if it properly supports DirectX then it'll be fine. The worst case scenario is where you will need a new video card. I have a two year old 32 MB TNT 2 card that always produces in excess of 32 fps in G2 and expect your card will do better.

I did a search for "SiS video card directx" and found that some of the Microsoft games/simulators are having problems with the SiS drivers. If the latest drivers do not help and if Great Planes/Knife Edge tech support are not able to help then a new video card would be my suggestion. You can buy a GeForce 256 MX? w/64 MB of ram for ~75.00. nVidia has updated drivers at www.nvidia.com. I have successfully been using their "Detonator" driver with several versions video card based on their chipsets.

GalenB - many thanks...could you point me to the place you saw the SiS problems listed? I did the XP "Direct X" Diag, and everything worked just fine, and MS Combat Sims (both Pacific and Europe) seem to be fine, also.
Thank you for your help! Much appreciated!

Has anyone tried running RealFlight using the new ATI Radeon 9700 Pro video card yet? I'd be interested in knowing if there are any issues with this card, similar to the problems that were being reported when running RF with ATI's previous video cards.
Thanks for any info you can provide on this,
Bill S
