Default FMS Troubles!

Hi all,

I have just purchased a Simulator cable on Trademe (New Zealands equivilant of Ebay), it hooks into my Futaba FF7 fine, but the other end apparently goes into the Microphone or Line in (3mm) socket on my Laptop, I downloaded 2 different versions of FMS and they both loaded up fine and run spot on, I can control them with the keyboard -but cant for the life of me figure out why it isnt workin with my transmitter? Can anyone help? There doesnt seem to be an option in the Control section for the Line in cable I have? Please somebody help!!!

Cheers [&o]

You need to download the driver that "reads" the audio signal, and convert it to a joystick signal. The driver is called PPJoy, and you can find it by searching under google.

ok,

I have dicovered a bit more to this thing, i have a CD which the cable came with, it has drivers on it, and it is using a programme called Smartpropo - at least now there is a Transmitter symbol on my toolbar on the bottom - although it is still not really registering it - I realise I am being vague here, but it is bloody hard to explain. Has this happended to anyone else?

Here is the developer's web site. I have not used it, but this should be a good place to start...
