Really wanting to get a sim, but am torn at the moment. Right now I really like the loads of free stuff out there for AFPD and it's realistic scenery, but G3 is sold at the local hobby shop around here. Is there a resource community for G3 like they have for AFPD? I'm not paying for add-ons and stuff for G3 if I can get just about anything i want for free with AFPD and can G3, now or at some point do the realistic panorama type sceneries like AFPD? Lastly right now I'm into Helis, but will get a plane here very soon... Quick poll on which is best at teachin a new Heli pilot the ropes.... G3 or AFPD????

if you want 3D or normal heli flying you should get reflex XTR....full stop!

if you like fixed wing, get AFPD.... full stop! AFPD does pretty good heli too, not as good as XTR
