Default Problem with AFPD please help?

Hallo Guys,

I just borrowed the AFPD from a friend of my and i have some problems, the first one is that i installed it but it`s not working properly,
I can fly with it but it`s doing a very strange noise when i hit the throttle, and something that i noticed is also that the plane has a shadow but it`s just a big box shaped shadow it doesn`t have the shape of any of the planes even the 3D Foamies. And the buildings and the planes seemed like blubbery.

And also the sound of the speakers have a strang sqwich with it you can hear the engine but there`s like a sqwich.

And also what is my big concern is that when i was flying the big planes like the Extra and the G-202 when i took off and hit full throttle my PC just turned off and when it restarted i got a message telling me that a major error has just occurred.

My PC is brand new and the only thing i have on my PC is Limewire,Messenger and about 15 videos about 6 minutes each.
I have 2.8 GHZ.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

I'd update your video and sound drivers and maybe reinstall the program before Dion has a heart attack from the title of this thread. And another thing, shouldn't you be out helping to search for that poor girl?

Check hardware drivers like BasinBum suggested!

I installed the latest DirectX,attleast when installing the AFPD they told me i should do it and i did.
But is there any newer version of the DirectX than this one that they suggested???.

I will check the AFPD patch.

I`am no computer whiz but i think the video card is a Intel Graphics Media Accelarator 900 with up to 128MB shared video memory.
With 200GB 7200RPM Serial ATA hard drive.

I will tray does things and see if it works.

Thanks for the help guys i really appreciate it.

Key word here is "shared", what you have is on board video card which has very low performance.....you should change it to something
running on AGP or PCI-X depending on system you have.
