Default Any problems with SLI setups?

Planning on stopping at the shop and picking up G3 tomorrow and thought I would ask. I'm running dual 6600GTs and wanted to make sure nobody out there was having problems running any of the sims, not just G3 with an SLI setup.

I am using an MSI motherboard and 2 MSI 6600 GT cards. I Am using SLI optimizer to force SLI in G3. It works good,it is a ltttle better with SLI vs 1 6600 GT card. Most all the settings are on high and i'm using 8x AA and 4X AF. iget about 50 FPS most of the time and it runs smooth. I tried G2 in SLI mode but it wont work at all. DOUG

SLI optimizer? That a separate tweeker tool or something that came with your MSI stuff? I assume it's used to force every game software to utilize the SLI setup? Anyplace I can download that from? Just picked G3 up yesterday and have had a couple problems with the system locking up on me but I think it's because the heatsink/fan on the chipset controller for the motherboard is failing and it's getting too hot. Asus told me to contact the merchant I got it from... They didn't put a faulty fan on there, why should I contact them? Don't think I'll buy another Asus board if that's how they are going to treat me.
