I have an electric cessna 182 (parkflyers/art-tech) and before I fly it, want to get some sim time on it. I have been playing around with FMS's skysport model as it looks the closest to it. But I have noticed that the rudder is almost 100% non-responsive while in flight. Are there any flight sims or downloadable models that match my plane more closely?
Here is my plane.

G3 has a Cessna that looks just like it, but it's not set up to mimic the park flyer that you have. I have been thinking about getting that same plane. Would like to edit the one that comes with G3 in order to practice with it, but I really have not gotten into the editing part of it yet and don't think I would even know how to edit it the plane and be sure that it's an accurate representation of the Cessna 182 park flyer.
Anyone out there know of some good resources for learning how to edit planes in G3?

I went to knifeedge.com but see no "ost". I am using FMS right now. I'm not against buying a simulator, but I want to get one that is mostlike what I fly...

he meant post. go to the g3 general discussion and they will help you. i think all you have to do is change the engine and the engine sound to an electric engine and also go to the visual scale and down size that as well.

I'm not using g3. The plane I am flying in FMS, I may have the name of it wrong, but it's the one that looks almost like a cessna. I think the issue I am having with it not flying is that the wing doesn't have the right amount of dihedral. This is what's making the rudder almost useless in the sky.
Is there a way to change this within FMS (does it use text files for information regarding the dynamics of the plane) or do I have to use some form of editor?

Ok. I found a document online that describes the make up of the files used to create a plane within FMS. I should be able to change the existing plane to fit my own. I'll update this thread later if it works.
