Ok anyone know if the cords that come with the Realflight G2 will work as a trainer cord between a Futaba 9c and another FM radio with the round plug in ?
The cord that comes with G2 has one square end and one round end.
The 9c has the same square plug as on the back of the interlink controller so basically what im getting at is can I simply plug the square end into my 9c and the round end into my eclipse and use it as a trainer cord ????????
Not for playing G2 but as a trainer cord between the 9c and any round plug radio!!!!

I had heard, on this forum, that yes, you can use the G2 cord as a trainer cord, but the buddy box needed to be self-powered. ie. keep the battery in it and turn it on. Just make sure you take the crystal out!!
I've never tried it, though. I learned of this AFTER I waited 2 months for a trainer cord.
Do a search on Futaba trainer cord, you may come up with something.

I have all tree but never got it to work. I guess I will try turning it on with the crystal off and see what happens. Thanks for the input! Now I am back into training newbies and letting them get the feel of a 9C in the process!
