Default About REFLEX demo...

Does the Reflex demo use the same CPU requirements as the full version? What I mean is, if the demo runs well on my PC, will the full sim do so as well (using the same settings)?

Thanks!

The min req says 32 MB or better - so it should run smoothly on a 64 MB card.

I have at home a Pentium III 1ghz with 512 megs RAM and a GF2-PRO 64 megs. Is there any way to run Reflex smoothly in this computer?

I believe so. Reflex XRT runs quite well on mine and it's very similar to yours.

Aliás eu sou de SP também mas morando em Atlanta...

I downloaded the Reflex demo and have a question. Is it legal for us to import the 5 panoramas into other sims for our own personal use?

Isn't that a perfect example for trolling? You know the answer and you would just like to start a nasty discussion about it.

Whatever you do in your own chamber is your biz and I don't think anybody can control, wants to control or is able to control.

The copyright clearly says NO but according to US laws that NO might be effective only if you are going to offer it to somebody else, offer it for download or share it on other networks.

Yes, I know you will have a different oppinion and you just wanted to have that oppinion to share it. Why don't you just wait until more G3 Sceneries are available? That way you wonldn't have to use smelly tricks.

EDIT: Forgot to mention - by signing the EULA while installing the Reflex demo, the favorite argument "I didn't know" doesn't work anymore. Also "I didn't know they were from Reflex" won't work.

For those who can read the reply, Rick was just loosing a similar argument at RC Groups. As most people would guess, copyrighted material has some rules, but hobby-lawyer Rick has a different oppinion here. Unfortunately, his oppinion doesn't change laws. Well, unfortunate for Rick, fortunate for a few others.

Of course it's legal. It's your computer you can do whatever you want with it. If they wanted too they could have easily encrypted the image files, but they chose not too, hence they are free to use for personal use once they are loaded on your computer.

Besides ... would you actually turn yourself into the police if it wasn't legal?

... but wait for the things to come. Remember that "Warning to Ebay shoppers of simulators!" thread?

Just checking, theirs been much debate at another forum over similar issues. What about posting screens, with XTR scenes installed on another sim??
