Default FMS Smartpropo Interface

I am trying to get FMS working on an XP (Home) machine. I have connected my transmitter (a 3 channel JR clone) and am able to get it working for throttle and elevator, but not rudder/aileron. I have gotten it to work on a Windows ME machine. I have tried the different channel numbers without success. Any ideas?

The diagnostic techniques and tools topic

also points to "TX2TX" where you can find the pin diagrams for various transmitters. So you can build your own cable with connectors. Or a buddy box for training.
You find also a lot of transmitter manuals.
