I bought Pre-flight about 2 months ago.
Its great very realistic for helis.
It worked without problems for me but pal of
mine had probs with it. Emailed support and
they fixed his problem within a day.
I havent tried multiplayer yet but I will soon.
Also I'll be making a photo-real background of
our flying field soon as I get a decent digital camera!

Yeah I have the demo.. and I am training on that micro electric heli
.. with my cuttoff joystick ..I guess you cant get any cheaper..cauz what can I do, I dont afford several $$$ for jsut simulators equipment( cabels, tx, etc) ..so I took off teh "hand" or what else its called on the joystick so I have a 5 cm little stick!
now im gonna play a little on the micro heli befor going outside tomorro and fly my BLade cp

And yes It just feels like the Pre-flight is underrated somehow .. it is very good compared to FMS, when looking at the helis.. so what machine do you fly

jbow,
I wanted to learn how to fly helis so I bought pre-flight over a year ago.
After about 6-7 hrs practice I bought a 2nd-hand raptor and lifetd-off,
hovered and landed all on my first flight!
I'm trying to use preflight now to design my own plane/helicopter (which
will do vtol and fast level flight)
Have you seen the new DC3 on the preflight website? The parashutes are
great fun!

sky-pilot, how's your Blade cp? I'm in the market for a micro heli -maybe a #36 walkera!

I got Pre-flight - very happy with it.
I bought it to learn how to fly a micro electric heli.
I was thinking of getting G3 but couldn't justify spending more on the sim than the actual heli!
Besides the cost of G3 was the cost of upgrading/buying a new PC thaqt can actually run it.
I'm spending the money I saved on upgrades on the heli, batteries, brushless motor, fast charger, etc.
