Default AFPD taught me how to fly!

hi everybody.
i didn't write here for a long time,
since i bought AFPD few months ago...
well, i started learning how to use it and fly....
i'm flying the pt-40 for a long time now, and i went to the field for my first time, with my brother's old pt-40.

i must say that it behaved almost the same like it behaved in the simulator!!!
it was awsom, i could use every trick i learned there and it was great,
i took off and landed perefectly, for the first time in real life.
after flying dozen of hours in AFPD!

it means that: AFPD is great, it taught me how to fly.
now i'll move, what should i learn now? sport airplains?
which model do you recommend?

Shalom!

Congratulations on your successful transition from sims to real planes! I wish I had been able to access simulators like this when I was learning....I'd have saved myself a lot of money! As for "next planes" to try, perhaps a low wing intermediate plane would be a good start. Might be fun to learn to handle taildraggers while you're at it! I think the World Models Mach II-S is a great second plane for both purposes, and it's quite reasonably priced. Good luck!

congrats

I was first interested in helicopters more than 2 years ago, so I got realflight g2, and messed with it for almost a year, and found myself flying the planes alot more... later that year after some friends got into planes, I bought my first plane, a tower uproar, which was reccomended for intermediate pilots, symmetrical wing, aerobatic, etc... and had no problems with it, everything carried over from the sim... now I use afpd and G3 and they have helped me alot with 3d flying the same way...

happy flying
