Hey guys,
I'm having a weird thing happening with my reflex that boom stikes when restarting after a crash in full negative in idle 1 or 2. Looks like it has too much negative load at that moment and simulator crashes the heli.
If it restart in throtle hold and them I swicth it off to full negative power nothing happens.
Does this happens to anyone else?
Look an easy fix to next updates though
Waiting for your answer Kurt
Thank you
Ricardo

Known problem. Well, not a PROBLEM, more like a feature.
Some helis habe a very small distance between tailrotor diameter and the last bit of chassis to the ground. If you start with max neg pitch, the heli pumps into the spring load of the chassis and forces the heli into the ground. That produces a tailrotor chrash. It happens very easily with the Raptor50 Tuning but it won't happen with the Caliber 30 or the EC135.
Frankly speaking, who would start a heli in full neg pitch? Just keep the pitch sentered and everything is fine.
The next idea to stop it if you don't like the stick centered idea: increase the spring load in the parameters, landing gear section.
You may as well modify the heli and add a distance bar in RMK.
Or you may just use another heli.
Starting with a centered stick might be the easiest choice

Eleven minutes!!! great score!!
Starting with mid stick is what I'm doing know but what if we tell Reflex guys to insert a routing (or maybe just a command line) to limit headspeed to, let's say, 900 rpm in starting situations?
Don't you think will solve the issue?
If happens with the rappy 50 tunned imagine what happen with the Vigor 90 and Fury 90 I installed?
Thank you
Ricardo

"if we tell Reflex guys to insert a routing"
Possible solution but I'm afraid, the Reflex programmer won't like it because it's driving the product away from his product philosophy. Just to give it a chance, I will pass the message. Let's see what happens.
EDIT
I'm afraid he will tell me that he has to spend programming time to solve a problem that would not exist if you would use your radio in the right way.
... just a guess
