Hi, I bought realflight G3 when it first came out last year and installed it on my computer and put away the CD. Now, I'm getting a new computer and can't find the G3 software CDs. I think there were 2 CD's. Is there any way to copy the files off of my first computer now and install them on the new computer? I still have the interlink controller but lost the CD and don't want to have to buy another program for $200. I also lost the CD case along with the CD, so I don't have any way of finding the serial number now. Is there anywhere to look for it within the software itself? I think it was originally written on the CD case. Thanks for any help you have!

If you still have your old computer running you can get the serial numbers from the G3 launcher. They are displayed in the upper-right corner. Or you can click in the G3 menu "help->about."
As for the program data, you can try copying this over from "C:\Program Files\RealFlightG3" and "C:\Program Files\Common Files\KnifeEdge" but I can't promise you success. Registered users can get replacement CDs by contacting RealFlight tech support at http://www.realflight.com/techsupport.html

windows xp if that is what you are getting has the capability to copy your files over from your old computer, the replacement cd's if you registered don't cost that much to replace, they do want some proof of purchase or the old cd case at least.i bought a g2 from a friend and he couldn't remember his password so i called them and the guy asked if i bought it from someone else he reset the password for me.
