Fletch,

I think we need more information before anyone can offer much in the way of substantive help. Some downloads (planes, images, sceneries) are now coming as executable files and these do not require the Importer Wizard at all... just unzip and then run the executable file and it should self-install for you in the default IPACS directory... no fuss, no muss...

I find the Importer Wizard also to be fairly idiot-proof for installing new panorama sceneries (images) and planes... I do generally unzip to a fresh Desktop folder bearing exactly the same name as the new plane (image, etc.) whose files are unzipped to this folder. Then I run the Importer Wizard and point it to this new folder... I seem to recall reading somewhere that odd characters, spaces, etc., have sometimes caused problems too.

However I did initially have problems with the Importer Wizard itself... If you are simply unable to get the Importer to work at all, you should download a fresh copy, as it should not be giving you any problem.

If none of this helps, please post additional details about your exact problem and procedure and you should get some decent information...

Charlie
