I've owned Reflex for over one year and have never gotten it to work with my Multiplex Evo 12 radio. It keeps telling me to 'turn on your radio' even though it is turned on. I even turn it off and then on again without success.
I have no problems using my Reflex with a Futaba radio and adapter.
Now here's the funny part. I take the Multiplex adapter from Reflex and then plug it into the Interlink controllers from Realflight G2 and G3, and I can use the Multiplex with no problem with Realflight; so I know the Multiplex adapter and my Multiplex radio work fine with a simulator, just not Reflex.
I'm really disappointed that I can't seem to make the darned Reflex work with my Multiplex...
Any ideas or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks,
WM6

From: Edmonton, AB,
I have XTR working with my evo 12. The supplied cabling did not work. I had to move some of the wires on the plug and solder them to new pins. If you still need help let me know and I'll ceck the pinouts.

rr = RunRyder.com. 3 people at the same time? We don't have one here in europe in a year?!?
To get things sorted: What interface? Stick or cable interface?
Make sure the wiring is like that:
Make sure, your MPX software has assigned inputs (gimbals/pots) to functions and functions to channels.
Make sure, the MPX software has STUDNET enabled and TEACHER disabled.
IF you have the cable interface and use an adapter from the 3.5 mm to 5-pin DIN, make sure the mono or stereo jack corresponds to the socket in the adapter.
Anyway, the Reflex guys are in Los Angeles next week for IHobby show. Just grab your stuff and get it sorted locally. Could be funny.

Hi Brendin,
Perhaps you can help me. I was given a Reflex XTR as a gift in 2005. It has never been used but has now been successfully installed on my older 'XP' computer. I would like to use it with my old 2003 Multiplex Cockpit MM transmitter, but I note that the Reflex interface cable has a 5-pin (DIN?) plug, and the transmitter has a 7-pin socket.
I'm new to RC and desparately need simulator time.
Incidently, both the Reflex sim, and the MPX transmitter were bought in Calgary when I was working there 2002-05. I live in New Zealand.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
