Hey guys I just got G3 and I don't have any shadows and I do have the latest driver on my card,,
I have the 32MB nVidia GeForce 2 MX200 graphic card,, I know it's kind of small but the specs on the REal flight.com it's one card that has been tested and it doesn't work with the shadows,, everything runs very good and smooth but NO SHADOWS!!!!!
I called Real flight and they told me I need a bigger card so why would they say they tested with this card if it really doesnt have all the features it should!!!!!
What do you guys think do I really need a bigger card and if so which one to get???? I have the HP 760c P4 1.9 ghz and 512MB of memory.
Is ther any other way to get the shdows going or it's really the card that doesn't know how to do it"????[&o]

and It is good for Battlefield 2 as well!

knife edge tells you this card work but they also note that the shadows do not work. http://www.knifeedge.com/rfvc_compatibility.php
I also have the GeForce2Mx do you have any problems with it otherwise ?
I also had one question if anyone can help me out. I was looking to upgrade to a GeForce Nvidia 5500 Overclocked 256 MB DDRam pci card. can anyone tell me how good or bad the performance is on this card? there is no listing in Knife edge saying anything about this card and I don't want to spend $120 to find this card doesn't work.

sadly....$120 only gets you a mediocre card.......
if nVidia... get ata least a 6800... or a 6600GT (but I would go with the 6800)
$120 is nothing in vid cards.....
ATI x800 series is an option too....

ok thanks for the answer I found here on a website a 6600LE for $94 it is a 256 DDr PCI-E and 400MHZ RAMDAC support. this seem like a better choice and it's cheaper still a GeForve Nvidia card.
