howdy all i bort reflex xtr from a friend but he's lost the usb cable so my 2 questions are


#1 i have a old serial interface for my hitec focus 4 see pic at bottom , could i use it through win98se and work on reflex ?


#2 would prefer to use winxp so could i use a serial to usb adaptor with drivers ? also see bottom for pic


the usb adaptor would be alot easyer because i dont have to install 98 and pull out a gig of ram so 98 will work and remove my x800 and install my 5900xt dame ati for having no 98 support for the x800 all that = a whole load of stuffing around

You bought it without the cable? Wate of money. Reflex will work with the Reflex interface only as some coding for copy protection is done. Better get your money back. There arn't any third party interfaces available.

Well he ripped you off because the software is no good to you with out the interface cord. You have to have the Reflex interface cord to make it work, that's where Reflex's copy right protection is, in the interface. The only way to get a the interface cord is to buy the sim or have a damaged interface and they will replace it, other then that your out of luck.
