I got G3 today for Cmas. After spending 5 hours on it today, I have to say the graphics are AWESOME! It is pretty lifelike looking. I have never flown so I can't say how it compares to flying the real thing but it is really fun learning. G3 is pretty awesome and well worth $200 IMO.

I've been flying for 11 years and the flight simulations are very realistic as I've flown it at other people's houses. Unfortunately, I installed it last night and it won't run. My computer is running XP , speed is 2.8 gighz, 512 meg ram, 80 gig hard drive, fat bus. When I double-click it begins to load, but stops at 61 out of 100, gives an error message and shuts down. Any hints?

Hmm... did you change the disc? I don't really know. Yeah my parents didn't know what to get me so we took a trip to the hobby shop and I had been wanting the flight simulator.... lol. I am now in the process of looking for a plane, so maybe I will be able to fly by the summer time. The sim has been working awesome I am spending 2-3 hours a day, it is awesome. I am able to beat the limbo now with the extra special(very fast plane). This sim is awesome I am so glad that I am finally about to be able to fly.

The thing that causes the most problems is the graphics card. Which card do you have?
P.S. There is a list of compatible/tested cards [link=http://www.knifeedge.com/rfvc_compatibility.php]here[/link]
