Default G-2 and Sound card compatibility

I am considering getting a G-2 simulator. When I sent my computer data sheet into Great Planes, they said my video card was OK, if updated. I did that. They also said my Soundblaster 64 sound card could not be updated enough for G-2. I have got the latest upgrade on it. My question is: What would happen if I try to install/run G-2 with a "below Great Planes' standard" sound card? Thanks for the help. Dzl

Default G-2 and Sound card compatibility

Before buying my new computer, I ran G2 just fine on a Sound Blaster 64 a 16mb Voodoo 4 card on a Pentium 333 mhz. It will run fine.

Thanks
