Default REFLEX RESET QUESTION?

When I am flying heli's on my REFLEX and I crash (a lot) it sometimes take almost 2 minutes for it to reset. Is this a normal reset time. I am using a NEW HP computer ( model a1120). When I am flying airplanes the reset time is a lot quicker.
Thanks fogey

Ive noticed this too. I dont know if reflex uses bump maping or not, but if you crash into a tree or a bush, it dosnt detect it as a crash untill the model hits the ground. When this happens, just hit excape and then f4. If you have it setup to start the simulation when your radio turns on, just turn it off then back on. My 9C turns on when its pluged in, so it dosnt transmit when its on the sim. I cant use the auto start feature. Hope this helps!!

Thanks Havoc,
I have tried all that you have said but to no avail. As a matter of fact when I crash into a tree it just stays there until reset, but thanks for your answer anyway! I also have a low frame rate (around 9 to 15) so maybe thats tied in with my problems.

Wow, that is a pretty low frame rate. Are you using V-sync? Whats the specs on you machine?

Well I must admit, I am NOT computer savy ( thus - fogey). I Don't know what "bump maping or V-sync" is. I just got a new computer two months ago so here are the specs. as I read them. Hewlett Packard Pavilion a1120 . Video card - Intel(R)82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset family. Video Driver - Microsoft Direct 3D hardware acceleration through Direct 3D HAL I hope this sheds some light on frame rate problems or reset time. Thanks again for your reply.

Hi Fogey,

Unfortunately I think you computer (specifically your graphics card) is not fast enough to run Reflex XTR.

Have you tried running it at 640x480 16 bit ?
