Ok I got G3 and love it great physics looks good, I got no complaints. Then everyone says AFPD is the better sim and all that. So I picked up AFPD. Now I play afpd and its a joke, The planes travel at like 3mph it nearly impossibe to loose it and the crash. Just seems real real arcade, but I will say the grafix are better. Now heres my questoin. Can I d/l a realism mod or anybody know some setting changes I can make? I just can't see how AFPD with my settings can even be taken as a real simulator. Any help or suggestions would be greatly apprecialted. I really wanna see if this afpd thing is any good HELP!

ok I speed it up. Little help. And I turned on weather which helps. But it still seams like i can fly strait and true at 2mph. For instance Really and plane you can take off a 1/2 foot do snap rolls hover harreir and loops and you loose no altitude doing any of this. I dunno thanks for the help but i just don't buy AFPD as being a real simulator. I honestly go from a basic flyer to an expert 3d flyer when switching from g3 to AFPD. Oh well mabey I'll try to pick up reflex give thats a whirl.

alot of the planes in AFPD are giants, and the 35-40%ers pretty much fly that way, varying a little between each.
G2 and G3, alot of the planes arent giant 3D planes, therefore they have the bad tendancies. Everyone says that AFPD is to floaty, but every giant i've flown in real life floats too. I like to think of it as G3 is for very new people, getting into the hobby, and need to learn how to fly. Aerofly seems more for the seasoned pilot, wanting to perfect their freestyle routines, or IMAC practice. That's what i use it for, works great.

makes since it just seems way too easy. After flying G3 I would hesitate to go fly some planes with afpd I would jump in both feet first. I'm gonn do some experimenting with it and see if i can get it harder.
