I gotta say from watching the videos the ground handling does look to be tons better than G3. That's the one aspect of the sim that G3 has always had trouble with. No matter what the surface it always feels like the plane is on glass.

It would be cool if the witch wilga's cape actually flapped in the wind though

The ground handling on AFPD is perfect. Even the transitions from grass to asphalt you get the extra bump, it's real cool.

Here is the Kamov 32 with a tethered object. The heli acts like heavy object attached until it's let go, if your wondering.

Nice repaint Aad! Also new scenery in Vietnam is awesome.

At least you've got the pattern though, I try to do it and within one roll the whole thing goes to hell.

Another great feature of AFPD is ability for the modelers to be creative due to the excessive features on AFPD like soaring, 2 player and glider towing.

This is a catapult winch for AFPD. It's based off a real one that I've seen before. It's cool because you can do glider towing with 1 person and you can make the rope as long as you like and the elasticity of the rope too to give it a nice launch. I set the rope short so you could see it pretty clear, even though it looks much better in real life. When you hear the switch, that's when the rope breaks loose.

OK more fun. A precision tethered drop from the new Sikorsky S-51. This is great practice if you ever want to tether anything from your helicopter as it reacts perfect.

Lego's catapult is awesome, I like the rope on that to be 80m! Somewhere on the RC-sim forum he had a pic of a catapult with a Jetcat on it [X(]!

HA! That's pylon building is awesome! Too funny.

I guess I can throw mine in here too. My latest clip fooling around with the Synergy. Took me a while to get the Synergy tweaked but it's stacks of fun now! Very much rivals the Sylphide in the fun factor catagory.
