Hey all,
Recently my interface cable for my hitec flash 5 that I have been using with fms broke. I'm considering instead of replacing it, picking up afpd. I'm not sure if the extra cash for the version with the controller is worth it. I like the idea of not having to keep my controller charged to fly, but I don't know what the quality is like on the included controllers. Looking for any thoughts.
Thanks

My suggestion is to get the Interface version and if you want the Commander you can get it later seperate. It will cost you more later, but then you'll have both an Interface and Dummy Commander for 2 players.

Thanks. I went ahead and got the interface version. I also did a little looking int he support forum over here, and seem'd ppl don't have high opininos of the controllers anyways. Loving the sim now
Nicely enough the trainer I'm building is a pt40, and that's one of the included planes in afpd, so don't have to do any looking around. I know the concess is to use 120% time, but seems most ppl talking about that r doing more advanced stuff like 3d. Should I work with 120% time for trainer training purposes too?
Thanks
